Some are not always too sure how to finance their property in France . There are many options for financing your property other than cash, re-mortgaging or seeking a new mortgage. Interest rates between countries and banks can vary considerably and France has one of the lowest and competitive in Europe . The cost of borrowing can be as low as 3% and considering a mortgage with a French bank can be a serious option.

As a result we have teamed up with leading banks in France and offer a one stop service to help you get a mortgage that best suits your needs. This service comes completely free of charge to our property and property search clients.

Banks can offer up to 100% mortgages and this can include the total cost of purchasing the property which includes agents as well as notaire fees and taxes. You may like to consider a mortgage before making an offer on a property. Talk to us about the options available so that you can decide what's best for you.

Additional funds can be made available through a mortgage if any improvement work needs to be made to the property. If the purchase is a renovation project funds can be made available to cover the cost of some if not all the work.

We will assist you with making your application and advise you what documentation is required. We will also accompany you to the bank and act as a translator between you and the bank if necessary. We also provide simulations provided by the bank so you know how much the repayments will be (see also money transfer and currency exchange). We also provide regular updates of your application.

In addition to this we can also help you with setting up your bank account and property insurance in time for completion and owning your new home.
